Harper Adams is
located in the small town of Newport, Shropshire just north of
Telford, Birmingham is the closest large city.
Arriving by air: Birmingham airport is the closest
option, but may not be an option available to everyone, further
afield you have Manchester and Liverpool - both slightly closer
than London - which itself is served by many airports for
international flights; Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton.
We strongly recommend
everyone to have printed copies of the maps when travelling to/from the event.
Finding your way on the motorways isn't too difficult but once
you get on to smaller roads detailed instructions and maps will
prove very useful.

Since 2006, Harper Adams has
hosted the Neo Race, it is an agricultural college that
specialises in farming and agricultural, managerial studies. The
track itself is housed inside a soil hall primarily used for
teaching students how to plough and handle farming machinery -
next door in the machine hall is the paddock. The venue is
unique in how self-contained it is; large on site car park, and
200 ft opposite the soil hall is the student accommodation which
most of our competitors stay in. |
